Editorial Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026.
Our editorial policy is designed to align with Google's E-E-A-T principles — Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness — and with widely accepted standards for health-adjacent publishing.
Sourcing
We source claims from peer-reviewed studies, textbooks, government health databases (NIH, FDA, EFSA), and reputable clinical bodies. Anecdotal reports are labeled as such and never used to support clinical claims.
Author expertise
Every article lists a named author. Bylines link to author profiles with credentials, professional background and other work.
Medical review
Clinical content is reviewed by a licensed physician before publication. See our Medical Review Policy.
Corrections
Mistakes happen. When we get one wrong, we say so, timestamp the correction, and — for material errors — publish an update note.
Updates
Health information ages. We revisit every top-of-funnel article at least every 12 months and update dates, references and any changed guidance.
Advertising & sponsorship
We accept affiliate revenue but never sponsored editorial. Sponsored content, if we ever run it, will be labeled clearly and separately from editorial coverage.
